Andy Burnham’s setting up a Northern No 10
So ow about a Northern 26 for oursen
To meet, have a talk, a drink if we yen
Or a line, a ditty, a poem we could pen
On who we are, what we do, so we ken
Our folks oop t’North, get the gen
Of those of us not in Londen 😉
I’m a Bradford-based 26er, but happy to organise a ‘live’ 26 event in Leeds, Manchester, York, Newcastle if there are any 26ers in those areas who’d like to meet and chat.
I’m suggesting this as we rarely meet up as 26 members, but get so much out of the opportunities when we do.
So if anyone’s up for it, do get in touch with me at irenelofthousewriter@gmail.com. I’d suggest September as a potential timescale…
