26 Writers’ Talks

Writers don’t just write (but you knew that); that talk too. And, sometimes, they listen. And laugh, cry, sing, shout, and strut. At 26 we like to let writers let their airs and graces down from time to time, and one of our favourite ways of doing this is through the medium of curated, quick-fire presentations. Eclectic, entertaining, and unmissable are just some of the words used to describe the pecha kucha-inspired format that was launched at Wordstock 2012 and that spawned a series of evenings at the Betsey Trotwood pub in Farringdon. These unrepeatable mash-ups of writers with words on their minds and images on their slides are unforgettable fun. Who knows, there could be another in the pipeline, so prepare your pitch and pack your pics…
