Firstly, an exciting update from Elise
Valmorbida. After a whirlwind trip to Melbourne, her book The
Madonna of the Mountains has won the Victorian
Premier’s Literary Award
for Fiction. Fantastic news – well done, Elise!

My news: I’m chuffed that a weekly podcast I co-host with Lucy Clayton, ‘Dress: Fancy’, which discusses fashion, fantasy and fancy dress – the subject of my upcoming book with Bloomsbury Academic – has just been featured as ‘New and Noteworthy’ on iTunes. I’m looking forward to giving a TEDxSherborne talk in May about Alan Turing and I’m pretty content with a little website refresh (benjaminwild.co).

I’m involved in a forthcoming exhibition at the Lettering Arts Centre based on Robert MacFarlane’s book Lost Words. It runs from Friday 15 March to Sunday 26 May, full details on the website.

I’m replacing my card index with www.ragic.com. The cards had helped me keep track of my poetry submissions since 1994, but were getting less fit for purpose as their number rose above 300. Now Ragic has all the titles, and I’m adding the other information (dates, lengths, outlets, outcomes etc.).

I ran a writing wellbeing workshop at Faversham Literary Festival. Anyone else want to book me? Let me know!
