The Institute of Stories

I’m launching a new event in Porthleven, Cornwall.

The idea is simple – to share stories, read aloud, around a central theme. The first session (Stories of the Sea) will take place on January 30th then there will be one each month. I also hope to take the event around local Festivals to celebrate and share stories and literature.

My main news is to have worked my way entirely through Jo Bell’s book 52: write a poem a week. Start now. Keep going. I made a poem every eleven days, tripling my previous output rate. I have offered a copy of 52 for Christmas to kinsfolk wanting a go.
