The insider’s guide to pencil-winning work

D&AD, the non-profit advertising and design association, has teamed up with 26 to offer a free event at its Shoreditch headquarters.

We’ve lined up three 26 members and former presidents of the D&AD Writing for Design category: Mike ReedFiona Thompson and Elise Valmorbida.

They’ll share their experience and insights, including:

  • What elevates writing from average to award-winning?
  • Behind-the-scenes evaluation—how judging works.
  • Copy tips and turn-offs.
  • What kind of work to enter for the ‘Writing for Design’ category.

You’ll have the chance to ask the judges questions, and network with other copywriters and creatives in the bar afterwards.

Here’s what you need to know:

What:                       Writing Award-Winning Words
When:                      6:30-9pm, Monday 8th October 2018
Where:                     D&AD, 64 Cheshire St, London E2 6EH
How much:             Free

We’d love you to join us on the 8th, whether you’re new to copywriting or a seasoned professional. Reserve your place here.
