Wordstock Deconstructed is heading to the Bloomsbury Festival in October. Here’s what we have in store.
26 Memory Maps
Where are you from?
That’s the question 26ers have been exploring as part of 26 Memory Maps. Writers started by drawing a map from memory, in response to the question. Then they wrote 150-word pieces of ‘memoir’ about the places shown in the map – and the people attached to those places.
The results are extraordinary explorations of memory and place. And they’ll be shared at a special event on October 18th at The Bloomsbury Festival hosted by oral historian and BBC broadcaster Alan Dein.
Tickets are now available. Just click the link to the event page here and use the promo code 26member to reduce the ticket cost from £12 or £10 to just £5.
