The Paths We Tread: Wordstock 2025

For the last two years, we have been bringing our annual “Wordstock” Festival to the Bloomsbury Festival as a half-day of talks, workshops, and writing designed to celebrate words in all their

                                       complex,
                          simple,
                                                                 emotional,
                                                                              slippery,
                                       satisfying,
             infinite,
                                                    transcendant,
                          persuasive

                                                                                                        forms.

On Saturday 18 October (2-6pm), we are returning to the beautiful, intimate library at Conway Hall for Bloomsbury’s 2025 mini-festival, with a new title:

The Paths we Tread

How do words bring us together? Lead us forward? Help us to look back?

How do they shape our day to day understanding and processes?

Good words can lead you anywhere.

The afternoon will feature readings and writings based around 26’s recent bridges project (details here from Stuart Delves); a panel on the interchange between personal and business writing led by Alistair Creamer; a live session with Eames Fine Art; and a tbc headline speaker.

All you need is a pen and paper…

(And a ticket. Which you can find for just £15 on the Bloomsbury Festival website!)
