Emerging Writer award
There’s still plenty of time to enter yourself or nominate someone for our Emerging Writer Award, supported by Storytime. The deadline is 26 November which might seem far away, but winter is coming and the days are getting shorter!
Project Writer award
We’re pleased to announce that Sarah Farley, longstanding 26er and veteran of numerous 26 projects, is leading the team running our Project Writer award. This award is supported by Quietroom. You don’t need to do anything, we’ll be firming up the judges and reviewing project work from this year in time for our awards ceremony in December.
Hold the date
We’ll be hosting our awards ceremony online from 6.30 – 7.30pm on Thursday 12 December, plus a bonus 30-minute very casual after show party.
An award for our awards
We’re delighted to announce that our pal, Phil Cleaver, has won an International Society of Typographic Designers award for our 26 Award trophies and certificates. The judges noted how the work utilises letterpress techniques, using wood and metal type to celebrate literary creativity, offering a unique approach to award design that emphasises individuality and craftsmanship. Congratulations Phil!
