This year’s Bloomsbury Festival includes 26 Inspirations an online and live exhibition featuring our writers working in partnership with a wide range of artists. The show features writing, sound, illustration, photography, art, pottery and even perfumery.
We’ve been a Bloomsbury Festival partner for a number of years now. This year our writers were asked to focus on what inspires them. It could be a place, a person, a language; a word, a poem, a piece of music; the smell of a favourite food, the sound of birdsong, or the feel of a fabric. You’ll see that their responses are varied, remarkable and inspiring.
We’ll be uploading new work every Thursday and Friday up until the festival launch on 14 October.
