I went to see David Hockney’s immersive show at the Lightroom in King’s Cross. So beautiful I went back again with nine members of my family of all ages. All loved it. A different genre, celebrating Hockney’s love of art, life and nature. Stunning, uplifting, unmissable – go see it.

I recommend Rosie and Frank. An Irish film (in Irish) exploring the death of a husband, the affects of grief on his wife and son, the response of neighbours, and the appearance of a stray dog and its effect on all of them. Oh – and its effect on a shy boy who wants to be a hurling champ. Is the dog truly an incarnation of the widow’s husband or an angel in disguise? Laced through with poignancy and humour, laugh out loud moments and outstanding performance by Frank (the dog). Highly recommended.
