Dale Chihuly at Kew

Visitors to Kew Gardens will find the blooms upstaged by the glass art of Dale Chihuly. Dozens of his surreal and expressive sculptures have been sited within the grounds and inside the restored temperate house; some abstract, some of fluid botanical forms. A visual treat, especially the work within the Botanical Art Gallery.

This month I find myself pushing Daisy Jones & The Six onto anyone who will listen. If you’re in London then try to grab tickets for The Phlebotomist at Hampstead Theatre. It’s a dystopian drama set in a near future where genome mapping leads to us all being given a rating that determines our place in society. But, like all the best science fiction, it’s about so much more than the nitty gritty of science. Gripping, human, and brilliantly performed. You must go!
