We Were the Salt of the Sea by Canadian writer Roxanne Bouchard. A crime thriller set on Quebec’s outlying Gaspe Peninsula. A lyrical, poetic ode to the sea. Roxanne once asked her mother: “Where did I come from?” She replied, “Infinity. We were the salt of the sea.” Happy reading and writing!

I am converting my poetry card index to a database. The index has served me well since 1994, but with card records on around 300 poems, it’s outgrowing its box and my ability to sort. Learning Libre Office Base is steep, and tangles with Java. A heart surgery convalescence project!
