Elise Valmorbida has some special news about her novel, The Madonna of the Mountains, which was recently awarded the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for Fiction.

A unique Theatrical Reading of The Madonna of the Mountains is happening on Friday 3rd May in West London.
Two actors and a director have taken the novel and created a theatrical reading based on it. The project is entirely their idea, and they’re keeping it under wraps, so I’m feeling honoured, excited and curious, all at once.
Here’s the event line-up:
Performers: Cecilia Gragnani and Fabrizio Matteini
Director: Francesca Camozzi
When: 7:30pm Friday 3rd May
Bar opens from 7pm
Where: St Peter’s Church, Southfield Road, W4 1BB
Tickets: £10 (£5 concession)
You might be familiar with Cecilia Gragnani already… Apart from her professional film and theatre repertoire, she’s the wonderful voice (or, rather, voices!) narrating The Madonna of the Mountains audiobook.
Tickets can be booked online or by email.

Then I may have work for you. My website is quite visible online and sometimes I get more requests than I can handle. Rather than turn projects down flat, I’d love to pass them your way. If you’re experienced (2+ years) at working directly with clients and writing web and other types of copy then I’m keen to hear from you. Please send your website or portfolio link to hello@ollyday.com and I’ll be in touch.
