An uncommon project

With a special virtual screening, and all the prints and sestudes available to discover online, COVID restrictions haven’t held back our latest project with Eames Fine Art, A Common Place.

While we haven’t yet been able to gather in Eames Fine Art’s gallery space, tonight’s (26th November) 26 Cinema Club is a chance to gather virtually and celebrate this wonderful project.

Director Mike Southon has captured the spirit of A Common Place beautifully – following some of the writers and artists who took part, and bringing the whole process to life.

We’ll be screening his film via Zoom, so don’t miss your chance to join from your very own home cinema set-up (a laptop will do nicely – popcorn and a beverage of your choice are encouraged).

Date: Thursday 26th November at 6pm (UK time)
Place: Zoom to your own room
Please register in advance to join:

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

The film is 40 minutes long so the event will be no longer than one hour. But a memorable hour.

You can also see all the artwork and read all the sestudes here – every one a window into each pair’s common place, and testament to the fact that creativity and partnership can still thrive, even when we’re apart.

As one of the writers involved, I’ll (somewhat cheekily) leave you with the artwork and writing which came from my pairing with Mike Ibbison.
