New 26 project in the pipeline…
Lisa Andrews and Ed Prichard are busy working on an idea for a new light-inspired project that they are hoping to throw open to all our members later in June (just as northern hemisphere light is at its longest). Once confirmed with the 26 Board, participation will be determined on the usual first-come-first-served basis so keep an eye on your inbox for more details in the next couple of weeks.
Creative Constraints Club: Launching 1 June
Are you overwhelmed by life at the moment? There’s a lot going on. Big stuff, like wars and climate change and an AI revolution. Add the smaller but really important personal things and it’s easy to feel like an ant drifting on a vast ocean. Well, I’ve had enough of feeling hopeless – so I’ve made something.
Creative Constraints Club is my little stand against the stuff that stifles our creative expression. Every weekday, Monday to Friday, around 10.30am UK time, I post a writing exercise with a creative constraint. The exercise is related to a theme of the week, which I share on a Monday. Themes vary. They spring from my writing life: who I speak to, where I go, what I read and hear, things that happen. They’re by me, never AI.
Simply, I’m making a very human space where people come together and have fun being creative. And of course I’d love for lots of 26 members to get involved. You can sign up free to a creative constraint every Monday. From 1 June, you can subscribe to the full experience for less than an oat flat white and pastry in a trendy cafe.
I’ll tell you more in June’s newsletter. For now, here’s where you can sign up. I hope you like the look of it. I’m excited for the launch.
