Get yourself some Wordstock

Wordstock2012_2_400_218

Wordstock, our annual festival of words, is almost upon us. This one-day celebration of ideas, language, creative nonsense, book swaps and short sharp workshops is in its fourth year. You can navigate the day as you please, choosing literal stuff to help you at work, or lateral stuff to unleash your creative spirit. Or both. In between, there’ll be loads of food and friendliness.

Our theme this year is FUTURES and we’ve got a programme that will put the bounce back into your crystal ball. Here’s a preview glimpse: Adrian Hon and the History of the Future in 100 Objects; CGI – the future of cinema and TV; storytelling for children; the language of computer coding; mapology and the art of mapping your future; Atlantic crossings in words and images; copywriting like there’s no tomorrow, and more. We’ll be launching a 26 collaborative writing project or two – be there to get a share.

We’ll announce the full fandango in good time, but you can snap up a ticket now at the members-only price of £62. You’ll need to click on ‘enter promotional code’ in the ticket information box and enter 26memberticket. Non-members pay £88, but if they join 26 (for just £26 a year) they get the discount ticket. The numbers are uncanny…

Tell all your friends and treat yourself to a ticket now!
