We’ve recruited all 26 writers for our new project, 26 Lies. And the draw to match them with 26 quotations (little white lies, monstrous deceptions or musings on the nature of lying) was carried out – with scrupulous honesty – At The Four Thieves pub in south London on 17 November.
Writers are now finding an artist-partner to work with. We already have a few lovely volunteers from Letter Exchange but if you know of any artists (in any medium – art, illustration, photography, film, audio) who’d like to be involved, please contact Wendy Jones at email@example.com or Andy Hayes at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The pairs then have until February to let their imaginations run riot and produce their creative responses to their quotations. We aim to start publishing in March, leading up to April Fool’s Day.
Mark Noad, 26 member and Chairman of Letter Exchange, holds the sorting hat. We’ll be partnering with some lettering artists from LE on 26 Lies.
