26 in poetry…
Here is the opening of Ezra Pound’s Canto XXVI
And
I came here in my young youth
and lay there under the crocodile
By the column, looking East on the Friday,
And I said: Tomorrow I will lie on the South side
And the day after, south west.

26 Words, our joint project with Letter Exchange, makes an appearance in Crafts magazine this month. We also had a mention in Design Week last year. You can still catch the exhibition at the Free Word Centre, we’re there until Friday 31st January. It’s open from 9am to 8pm, but check if you’re thinking of going as there are exceptions. And don’t worry if you can’t make it. We’ll be heading out on tour, all the way through to November 2014. Click here to see if we’re anywhere near you.
Finally, don’t forget to order a copy of the book, beautifully designed by award winning designer, Mark Noad. Members can buy a copy for just £12 plus £1 p&p. Feel free to order some for all your friends, relations and casual acquaintances.
