Work is flowing in for the 26 Lies project. As you may remember, we’ve challenged 26 writers and artists to respond to 26 lie-themed quotations. Each pair has been given a dastardly untruth, a little white lie or a reflection on the nature of lies and lying. Imaginations have been allowed to run wild. Honesty has not been a requirement.
We’re looking forward to the results and aim to start publishing them in March, one a day, leading up to April Fool’s Day
We’re also planning to reproduce the work in a tabloid print version (the press and lies perhaps being not complete strangers).
And the really great news is that the Free Word Centre has offered us a 26 Lies exhibition in October – exact dates tbc, but to coincide with Wordstock.
