Tracey McEvoy
I’m currently working on a collection of auto-fiction, Five Years in a Ten-Year Town, based on my relocation from London to Nashville in the 1990s and juggling marriage, motherhood and country music.
My first novel, In the Shelter of Each Other, was Highly Commended and awarded joint second place in the Exeter Novel Prize this year, and I was shortlisted in the Grindstone International Poetry Prize in 2020. I was also awarded Arts Council England funding to help me complete my novel.
Previously, I have worked at the BBC Worldwide and BBC Studios where I headed the Internal Communications team, in the London office for Oprah and Ricki Lake, as a researcher for PBS, and script reader for Goldcrest Films.
