Sue Evans
Freelance writer
I am a freelance writer and design manager based in London and trading under the name of Writing Design Communication. I have more than 20 years’ experience in brand identity development, communications and marketing for design companies and corporate clients in Europe and further afield.
My work involves research and writing articles, discussion papers and presentations, as well as moderating project workshops. I write brand books, design and technical guidelines for new metro systems around the world, annual reports and website content. I also edit material for publication written by other people.
I am interested in the history of design and creative industry archives are a personal enthusiasm. I have written articles for D&AD about archiving practice in design and advertising, and consulted on a design archiving project with the University for the Creative Arts in Epsom.
I am a member of the management board of 26 and a judge on the 26 Project Writing Awards. I was recently an editor and contributor to Armistice 100 Days, a collaborative project between 26 and Imperial War Museums, involving 100 writers in the run up to the Armistice Centenary in November 2018.
Please get in touch if you think I can help with your writing assignments. Thank you.
