I’m the co-founder of a small company based in Islington called Acacia Avenue. We are about helping companies and organisations with their marketing strategy, using – hopefully – innovative research techniques such as in home observation and collaborative workshops between members of the public and executives, in order to forge a far closer connection between our clients and their customers.
My own particular enthusiasm as part of Acacia Avenue’s work, is the way that brands express themselves in language. We find that many customers are far better at reading brands than people in business realise, and it’s part of our work to help them find more authentic and engaging ways of communicating, such as the Milanese travel agent below.
