Fiona Thompson
Freelance Writer
I’m a freelance writer who started off as a journalist, writing features for The Guardian and columns for the Times and Esquire magazine. I now spend most of my working life writing print and digital content. Recent work includes brochures for Save the Children and the Paris Opera House, web content for Corney & Barrow and interviews with musicians for Help Musicians UK.
I joined 26 in 2003 and am a board member. I’ve been involved in various 26 projects, including 26 Treasures at the V&A and the National Museum of Scotland, 26 Treasures of Childhood at the Museum of Childhood, and 26 Exchanges.
In my spare time, I play the harp.
