Copywriter / Creative Director
Mmmn. Me. Well, I was going to be an advertising Art Director but as the partner I teamed up with at University was dyslexic, I became a Copywriter. It was natural selection I suppose. I’ve always liked words anyway.
I was lucky enough to be awarded a Creative Review ‘Creative Futures’ by our esteemed 26’er Will Awdry, just before getting hired at Ogilvy. I then worked at Bates, Saatchi & Saatchi and then the integrated Elvis – where I enjoyed seeing things through ‘digital-tinted’ glasses.
I’ve now left that building and am a freelance Creative Director / Copywriter and have done stints at M&C Saatchi, Aesop, Atomic and direct to client.

I’m currently fine-tuning a Comedy Drama script for TV and am talking to various production companies.
I hail from Huddersfield like Simon Armitage. How lovely to see Northerners doing OK for themselves.
