For the last twelve years I have been winning public sector contracts through tendering and the writing of bids, and in that time I’ve won about £4bn across various sectors. This has included almost nine years working with one of the most successful bid consultancies in the UK, where I now act as Creative Director. I’m always on the look out for potential writers to join our stable of staff and associates, so please get in touch if you like winning.
Alongside the winning (there’s so much winning) I also write and perform poetry and other words-on-a-stage. My work has been awarded by the Scottish Book Trust, featured in the English GCSE Textbook, and shown as part of various gallery exhibits and beer festivals. My solo theatre/ spoken word show on burnout and male mental health, Rain Dance, was first performed in 2017 and has since appeared on various stages around the Midlands.
Through 26 I’ve delivered a Pecha Kucha on ‘Why Reading Comic Books Will Make You A Better Writer’, as well as contributing to Throwaway Lines, 26 Miles, and 26 Children’s Writers… all of which were bloomin’ marvellous.
