I’ve taken part in three 26 projects: ’26 Atlantic Crossings’, which partnered 26 writers with 26 visual artists from Prince Edward County in Ontario, Canada; ’26 Children’s Winters’, in which 26 writers each wrote a 62-word ‘sestude’ in response to an artefact at the Museum of Childhood in Edinburgh; and ’26 Steps’, which was a celebration of the centenary of John Buchan’s 39 Steps. Fabulous projects; fabulous opportunities for cross-artform collaboration.
