I always recommend The Penguin Writer's Manual. Simple, no-nonsense advice. My copy is dated 2002.

Hi chaps,

I'm after some user friendly grammar resources to recommend to a group.

My favourite read is Outline of English Grammar by J.C Nesfield (1961). I'd love to recommend more recent publications / online resources.

Do any of you have a favourite you'd recommend?
