I'm a London based writer who loves words. Recalcitrant and ululate are among my favourites, as is pernickety. But, as a lassie from Lancashire, I particularly enjoy good old Northern words like 'mard' (for those who don't know it, I'd be happy to provide clarification).
As a copywriter in an internal comms agency I wrote for M&S, Crossrail, British Gas and Aviva (amongst others), working alone or in a team to produce anything from operations manuals to movie scripts. I also spent some years as Creative and Content Manager in a busy tech and gadget PR agency, where I had the pleasure of writing about anything from ebook readers to Egyptian Sarcophagus DVD cabinets. I'm not joking.
