I'm Jonathan Holt. "I write. I travel. I eat. And I'm hungry -- for more." (Theme music) Whoops, for a second there I had myself confused with that chain-smoking chef, Anthony Bourdain. Whereas personally I'd never eat wild boar anus just to sell more books. (How many books are we talking about exactly?)

Starting over. I'm Jonathan Holt. I write. I edit. I do web... things. I used to edit BPs website, which taught me a lot about content management systems, crisis response and the pubs of the City of London. Usually in that order.

Now I'm self-employed again and trying to keep a lively mix, with some of my own writing thrown in for extra bounce.

I blog about words, pictures and other woo-worthy things at www.woobiquity.com.

26 is great. A latter-day Bauhaus, just with no concrete, building-sized achievements or home furnishings to show for the collaboration (yet?).

I did a chapter for Common Ground about TS Eliot, which scared the daylights out of me - or I should say 'who' - but we became friends in the end. Though, of course, really he's dead.

More recently I joined in the fun of the childrens book project at UCC, working with a talented designer from Japan called Mihoko. The book we made is about a flight of the imagination. "He's scared, and he doesn't know how to land this thing!" (picture below) is exactly how I feel sometimes midway through a day of copywriting, but without the kid-safe assurances that all will come right in the end.
