Common Ground - Around Britain in 30 Writers
2 Men walk 48 miles and meet at Tate St. Ives - 02/04/2007
2 men start 48 miles apart. One walks clockwise, the other anti-clockwise. They meet midpoint at Tate St Ives to read and talk on the subject of landscape. 18:30–20:30.

Cornwall writer and artist Pete Kirby took a 26 mile walk inspired by the work of Richard Long - and wrote about it for a chapter in Common Ground. When Richard agreed to walk the other half of a 48 mile quest to meet in the middle at Tate St. Ives, Pete was delighted. They can't promise they'll have much energy left for a lively discussion about writing and landscape, but they will do their best to arrive at 6.30 p.m. on 2nd April. However you get there, don't miss it.
